Our Story

About 5Plus2 Coffee

5Plus2 is a Christian mission and education-focused nonprofit committed to helping children stay in school, strengthening local churches, and serving underserved communities throughout Central America and beyond. The name comes from the moment when a small offering of five loaves and two fish was placed into the hands of Christ, illustrating that what seems insufficient can become abundant when surrendered to Him.

Faithful obedience matters more than scale, applause, or comfort. Our work primarily operates in Nicaragua, Honduras, and Belize, partnering with local pastors, churches, and communities rather than replacing them.

Education is a major focus, not as a substitute for the Gospel, but as a stabilizing force that creates space for discipleship, leadership development, and long-term transformation. 5Plus2 exists to interrupt the cycle of children being forced out of school to survive, allowing churches to retain future leaders and families to maintain hope.

Our support is directed toward real people, real families, and real ministries on the ground. The goal is multiplication, not dependency. We believe that God consistently uses what is willingly given, no matter how small, to accomplish far more than we expect. In short, 5Plus2 is about placing what we have into the hands of Jesus and trusting Him to multiply it for His glory and the good of others. We sell to people who want to make a difference.
